The par-70 layout stretches to approximately 6,742 yards from the Cardinal tees and winds through rolling terrain framed by towering oak trees, strategically placed bunkers, and San Francisquito Creek, which comes into play on nearly half of the holes. Significant elevation changes, challenging approach shots, and well-protected greens make Stanford a demanding test where accuracy and smart course management are rewarded. The course offers a tremendous variety of holes, with changes in direction, elevation, and strategy throughout the round.
