Purple Sage Golf Course is the primary golf course in Idaho with this name, located in Caldwell, Idaho (in southwestern Idaho, about 30 minutes north of Boise). It’s a well-known municipal/open-to-the-public course with a long local history and regular events. A.V. Macan is remembered as one of the key figures in bringing thoughtful, challenging course design to the Pacific Northwest and parts of the western United States.
