GSPro is a golf simulator software that recreates the experience of playing real-world golf courses. But the software itself is just the engine – the courses that make it special are created by talented community members known as course designers.
These designers spend countless hours studying real courses, gathering reference materials like aerial photography and course maps, then meticulously recreating every detail: the terrain, bunkers, greens, trees, and even the atmosphere. A single course can take anywhere from 40 to 200+ hours to complete.
Most designers do this as a hobby, driven by their love of golf and the satisfaction of sharing their creations with the community. However, the time and skill involved means many designers also take on commissioned work.
Many designers create courses purely for the love of it, releasing them free to the entire GSPro community. These passion projects often include courses the designer personally loves or wants to play virtually.
Designers accept commissions to build specific courses on request. Clients pay for the designer's time and expertise. Pricing varies based on course complexity and designer experience.
Some designers offer Course Packs – subscription tiers that grant access to exclusive courses. Subscribers also often get perks like voting on future courses, commission discounts, and giveaway entries.
