Half Moon Bay – Ocean Course

Half Moon Bay - Ocean Course by pakman. Opened in 1997 and designed by Arthur Hills, this traditional "Links style" course features wide fairways, native grasses, and seasonal wildflowers. Changes in elevation, coastal winds, and large bunker complexes add challenge and drama. The course offers panoramic views of the Pacific, especially on the final three holes. The 16th hole presents expansive views, leading to the blufftop 17th, reminiscent of Pebble Beach's 7th, and finishes at the oceanside 18th near the Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay. Scottish bagpipes at sunset enhance the experience, completing a round that starts and ends at the clubhouse.
