The course was originally designed by architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. with a redesign recently completed by noted architect Kyle Phillips. It is rated as one of the hardest in the United States, with over 7800 yards from the tips and 5600 yards from the reds. The course is hilly with many elevation changes and drama on every hole.
